WHY LEARN WITH LISA?
With over 30 years of international experience as a performer, recording artist and teacher, I love helping young people grow musically and personally.Lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to each student’s pace and interests. In the messiness of growing up, music can be a steady place to land. It helps build focus, emotional awareness, and resilience—and over time, it becomes a language for self-expression and self-trust.
What’s On Offer:
Ages: 12 to 19
Lesson Focus: Voice, Guitar, or Songwriting
Format: 1-on-1, 30-minute weekly lessons
I offer a special young person’s rate of $65 per lesson because these are the years where support, structure, and creative encouragement really matter.
Payment: Monthly in advance – $260 for 4 lessons
Location: My music studio in Flynn, ACT
Extras: Performance opportunities every year.
Safety & Trust: I hold a current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card and provide a supportive, respectful learning environment for every student.
These lessons are for young people who need a space that’s calm, kind, creative and built around who they are. They might be shy, anxious, neurodiverse, or going through a rough patch. They might be confident and ready to grow their skills to new levels.
Music can offer focus, relief, and a way to express things that are hard to put into words. Whether they’re brand new or already immersed in music, these sessions are designed to meet them where they’re at—with support, structure, and encouragement.
